I would appreciate your help regarding pruning roses. My gardener had planned to prune my hybrid tea roses to about 1 1/2 to 2 feet in late November, before the weather turned very cold. However, he hasn't been able to attend to this task and I'm thinking it's too late to prune them now. Am I right? In addition, I have a lovely Knockout which has grown quite large and has never been pruned. Do you think I should prune it a bit, even this late, to prevent its being crushed by the first heavy snow (this happened last year, but I managed to get the snow off and it bounced back. It looked great this year. Thanks for your help.
