Hi - this is Patty (Carlson) Love. I've just returned to the States after about 10 years of teaching in China, India, Oman, and Istanbul, Turkey. I'm "settled" in Las Cruces, New Mexico, because it's one of the sunniest places to be found. My son, Joshua, lives in Chengdu, China, amongst the Panda, with his Canadian wife and 5 month-old baby girl, Aetheria. He has a rock band there, and is contributing to a number of causes to help the impovershed. My daughter, Melissa, managed to finish her PhD while serving as a research analyst for the American Cancer Society in Atlanta AND giving birth to two girls Darya and Leila) and one boy (Inlias) in less than three years flat! All is well, and I'm now teaching my fellow citizens at the local community college. Still involved with music and creative writing. |
