4 years ago my best friend died we had not spoken in years. I found out he died two days after I accepted a job on the Big island of Hawaii. This was the moment that my life began to change. I had no Idea, but he was living and apparently dying on the big island. I cant say why I had accepted the job, as I had never been there and had no connections to the island (that I knew of). Something was drawing me there so with my wife and our two kids we set out on an adventure of a lifetime. Within months of reaching the Big Island things started to happen that I cannot explain. I found it harder and harder to work within the constraints of the egalitarian clock. As a tool to escape, my wife and I began too write our first novel. It was based on a dream I had where my friend told me of a complete shift in consciousness by the entire world. As we wrote the book, it evolved on its own taking us through three years of discovery. Around every corner what I thought I knew was being challenged and in most cases obliterated. It astonished me that this knowledge was not being taken seriously. As we wrote we discovered the Hopi prophecy and its connections to the Hawaiian, myan and Egyptian beliefs all of which became a focal point of the story and our lives. Every day we met people that gave us input and inspiration. We finished the novel in May; it will be available on Amazon July 4th. Where this starts to get really strange is that we had no idea about the star family reunion and yet the whole book is set around the four corners area. Two of the major locations in the book are window rock and choco canyon. Then last weekend I had a strong feeling that we needed to go to the Hilo powwow on the other side of the Island. We found a spot and not long after a man sat down across the table from us and said he was there for our appointment. Apparently we had made an appointment in a different time and space. He introduced himself then asked if we were going to go to Farmington New Mexico July 9th though the 11th. He had never read our book and yet here he was telling us that there was to be Star Family Reunion only 5 days after our book comes out at one of major locations to celebrate the underlying theme of our novel. To say I was blown away was an understatement of immense proportions. To top it off his knowledge reinforced everything we had been learning.
I can truly say things happen for a reason
