Yes, and tradition also exists in the mind of the natural man.
Things as pride, lust, selfishness, carnal fear, vanity, and all forms of these are also "tradition".
Take a look at the definition of Tradition:

2/ the handing down of information, beliefs, and customs by word of mouth or by example from one generation to another without written instruction.

Apply this definition to life in the world, in society. The manner of beliefs and trends of thought. How pride is admonished as a good thing, when the Lord clearly states that pride and all forms of it is abhorrent to him. How the world says one thing and the Lord says different.
The ways of men, which are traditions, are acquired when men do not seek the Spirit of the Lord for instruction, for teaching, for reproving and chastening. That men go about their own ways, believing that they are right when the Lord made it clear that our thoughts are not his thoughts, our ways not his.
Yes tradition called the natural man, which is all of us, is an enemy to God (Romans 8:7). This means that the natural man cannot be truly obedient to the Lord, because the natural man is too selfish.
How can a person overcome tradition of the world, of this natural man? The things we all grow up with and have within all of us?
Part of the answer is in
Proverbs 3:5, Psalms 1;1, Prov. 12: 15, Prov. 19: 20, Isa. 11: 2, then Matthew 19:29, Matthew 6:22, Matthew 22:37, Matt. 23:26, then with Luke 12:12, John 14:26, 1 Cor 2:13 (all King James Version).
Then by these truths in the above scriptures, a person can learn to overcome the hidden and unseen traditions that sit within our own psyche and heart, which affects our ability to see truth, which makes the Lord's truth as none effect.
Therefore, in short, seek the aid of the Lord through his Spirit. That is the only way. We have no ability in our beliefs to achieve it on our own.
