i have been backpacking around europe for seven months now, so needless to say i'm on my feet aconsiderable amount, aften bearing heavy loads, lately i have developed intense pain in my foot, there is dorsal pain just an inch from my ankle on around the third metatarsel, the balls ( the big pad i think it is called the metatarsel pad) of both my feet hurt quite a bit, my heel (the sole part) is also quite painful, it almost feels as if my foot has curled up (like my arch has raised) now when i walk, the the pad ( when my toes bend ) hurts a lot, and i am also having extreme pain on the outer half of my calf muscle, due to extra weight being put on the ball of my foot. i was wondering if someone could try to help clarify what i might have, and if orthotics could be a possible treatment, i've seen doctors, but due to being in areas where not a lot of english is spoken i havent really recieved a proper diagnosis.. thanks very much |
