I have a large bump on the outside of my foot at the base of my baby toe, kind of where my foot turns into toe...does that make sense? It looks just like the photos on this site of bunions, but like I said, it's not near my big toe, it's on the other side. It is very sore and painful...the skin is very red and almost raw sometimes. Can I have this enlarged bone (or whatever it is) surgically removed? ANd what would be involved in that?
