I read all the information on this site about Gary Miller. The circumstances seem to point to an alternate lifestyle. Not to be disrespectful, but the recollection of his demeanor, the phone calls at the store, and the comments sound like he had problems in his personal life.

It sounds to me like he was a closet homosexual who was married. He traveled to Reading which was in a different area, possibly to have meet ups with someone. Who knows it's possible this person pressured him for money to keep quiet knowing how it would destroy his occupation (at that time 1999) and his music aspirations.

The meeting place could be coincidental or where gay men find gay porn or potential partners. Not sure this really has a meaning, other than it may be a place they both decided to meet.

The door handle missing from the car means someone tried to open the door and it broke. Of course I don't think Gary suspected he had a gun and intended to use it. I think he probably knew this person was angry. Meeting someone at 1:30 AM in the morning means you were desperate to settle something.

The answer may lie in other aquaintances of Gary. If you want to solve the murder you have to find the alternate life. The one he said that "he wanted to change from" when he said " I need a new life." |
