My parents actually tried to find some of my siblings for me growing up. They encouraged me to talk about them and it means the world to me that they let me have my memories such as they were. I was pretty sure it was my Grandma Thomas, or Thompson that passed away. I was 99% sure it was Thomas. I knew she had died of some kind of cancer, I was just wrong about which kind. I do remember being close to Aunt Peggy too. I remember (at least I think I remember, I was little) her living in KC and we had to cross a "singing" bridge to go see her. I remember riding in an old woody station wagon too. My memories are scattered and a lot are blank from that time of my life, so I remember some, but don't remember others. My brain just decided it was best for me I guess.
I do still love to sing and one of my favorite things is singing karaoke. My daughters are both little song birds, the 13 year old is in chamber choir which is the top choir in her school. I have always been a girlie girl and I enjoy dressing my girls and doing their hair. My 13 year old mostly does her own now, but the 5 year old is quite a princess:) |
