When will I know how many embryos/blasts will be frozen after a transfer?

Dear "AnonIVF,"
At IRMS, you will find out if embryos have been frozen when you come in for your progesterone blood test a few days after transfer. The information is usually given to you when you receive your call with results from that day.
Good luck to you!
Debbra Keegan

We are awaiting in desperation to hear back on our little dear embryos. If they were frozen on time or what happened to them. We have not received any information even after inquiring with our nurse multiple times. It is unacceptable that there is no transprancy at all through out the IVF process!!!!!

When we asked our nurse over the course of embryo fertilization, she kept saying we do not have that info and let me find out and she never came back to us. During every phone call including last call after progesteron check, we enquired but no information was given to us. Why is it so difficult to give that information to us? I know we are just a "case" for the institute but this means a lot to us and is our life and we deserve more!!!! Why the nurses from IRMS are so callous?? when I watch youtube videos for other females who are going though IVF their nurses talk so nicely and give emotional support. Specially my nurse is so rude and always replies in anger!!!!

My husband and I both are IT professionals and have a very hectic/crazy schedule(sometimes nightly and weekend supports). If this IVF does not work out, we are totally dependent on frozon embryos as we do not want to simulate my ovaries again and go through the egg retrieval process again. It is a long process and I do not have that courage to prick myself with n number of drugs, do not have patience to go through the pain cased by needles/retirval and do not have money to spend with constant failures (TTC since 4 years, 5 failed past IUIs).
