WHY? If the court process is to be fair, why is the defendant clean cut, shaven and dressed in a suit? The night of the incident the defendant was charged, he was dressed in jeans, had long straggly hair and was unshaven. WHY is the defendant portrayed differently than at the time of crime?

Who pays for the defendant to have a hair cut, shave, and suit attire, while they are held in jail?

WHY is it, the victim's picture can not be shown in a court of law, yet the portrayal of the defendant is changed?
