The lisfrances ligament is near the mid-foot, and not in the area of the big toe. So if your doctor had suggested that lisfrancs ligament damage was your problem (and you couldn't have just imagined he said that) it would seem to me that his diagnosis, if not his treatment, is way off. Cracking noises and popping sensations coming from a joint must be evaluated hands-on, and even then may be difficult to accurately diagnose. I would suggest you get another hands-on evaluation if the treatment being already rendered does not resolve your problem |
