Pain and tolerance for it is a completely individual thing, and where many, if not most patients may have progressed furthen than have you at this particular time, it would require an actual examination to determine whether or not the difficulties which you are experiencing are related to a problem with the surgery and/or your recovery or with an individual issue having to do with your general tolerance of discomfort.

That being said, I would, under no circustances let the doctor's nurse, even if she is actually a real nurse, be the one to determine whether or not your status is the result of a treatable problem or complication or whether it is something that was to be expected. Demand to speak directly to the doctor and let him/her determine what, if anything, needs to be done. But do not look for answers based on the probably singular experience of those who have had, or assume that they have had exactly the same procedure as you have undergone.
