Subject: Can TTS and brachial plexopathy be related?

I am recovering from tarsal tunnel syndrome and was recently diagnosed with brachial plexopathy. My concern is that both are nerve-related, is this just a coincidence? My lower back goes numb a lot when I ride the recumbent bike...so I'm wondering if there is a possibility that I have a greater overall nerve problem (maybe in my spine?)causing everything. My doc doesn't really have an answer for me. Thanks so much for your help.
