I am one of those folks whose ankle can 'roll'. However, yesterday I was running and landed on a small rock unevenly. When my ankle went, it felt different - almost like the bone popped out and back again. There was no tearing sensation but a great deal of pain. So I did the usual, elevate and ice. Today it is swollen but can bear my weight if I'm on my toes. Should I see a doctor? I hate going, waiting forever just to be told to stay off of it and ice it.
