 Subject: Arch Pain & Foot Lump

I have developed in the past three weeks a lump on my left foot along the right side. It is about two inches wide and three long and goes along my foot from a little below the ankle bone down. The arch on the other side has sharp pains. My chiropractor has taped it, which makes it feel better, but it hasn't gone away. I wondered what I should be next?
