My foot suddenly became painful on weight bearing at the ballregion of the base of the 4th toe .The x ray shows a possible sliver of bone lurking about in the region. I have been told to rest and elevate. (which is difficult) any idea what will happen..Will the problem go away? how long will it take to improve?
