I had surgery 1 week ago to straighten out my toe, I guess it is called hammertoe. Well it is straight now, but my toe is extremly swollen and dark and it is heavy and numb. I called the dr and he says everything is ok, but I am a bit worried. Is this normal and when would the swelling go down. Also how soon would I be able to wear normal shoes?
