Birth mother Florence R. More gave birth to a baby boy at Smith's hospital in Walton, Delaware county New York on 9-14-1949. The attending physcian was Dr. Walter Eels. She was 18 unwed, living at home with her parents. Her parents forced her to give him up for adoption.I do not know all of the circumstances as to how he came to be, or why she wasn't able to keep him. All I know is that, the adopting parents were friends of my birth mother's minister from a neighboring church. They named him David. Our birth mother is 85 now and she has never stopped thinking about the baby boy she was forced to give away. David, you have another entire family that has been searching for you for many years. Our birth mother never got to see you or even hold you. They wouldnt allow her to. All she could, was hear your cries from another room and her to cry for you as her parents made her sign you over to your adoptive parents. I've seen her cry on your birthday over the years. Being able to find you and for her to be able to see you before she dies would give not only her peace, but also you and your extended birth family.
