Hi..looking for help here. We want to sell a surfboard to get a little cash to help in moving to WA state from Socal.. So my husband brings out this BUNG board right?
Can't find 1 thing on this...
Logo says BUNG in a Script type logo on the bottom at top.
Also on the bottom this board was Hand signed by
Joe Bung... then "0185" 9'3"..
So we know Joe Bung made it.. sometime probably 50's thru
60's?? not sure..
It has a removable fin and rubber footings on top,
Some rubber guide things underneith.
anyway, we took pictures but I still have to reduce,,etc
before I can show them..
I "THOUGHT" I glimpsed something while browsing about
Joe Bung and ?? Hatkins?? or something starting Bing
surfboard company...
I went back to read that.. lost it..
Anyone know what we have here? What it might be worth?
It's in mint condition practically, has never been refurbished.. when photos are done.. David does have wax
on it from the last time he used it..otherwise.. not a scratch..
Do we have something really neat?
Or just a Bung made board?? Who's Joe Bung??
I hope I don't insult enthusiasts..don't mean to..it's just that I grew up in SF and wasn't into surfing..
