This is my second Snapstone installation. I was so pleased with the quality and ease of installation in my first bathroom that I decided to do it again. I'm 1/3 of the way through my second bath and I now see hairline scratches in the tops of some of my tiles. Not deep enough that it goes into the porclain just a tiny sliver of a cut. This is not just one box but out of a couple I have opened. I am extremely frustrated that I will have to take the time to return these tiles to Menards and waste the time to do so. There is no rhyme or reason to the cuts, no pattern that a machine would have scratched them just random scratches. I doubt these tiny scratches would be a problem now but I think down the road in a few years the scratched surface will open a bigger cut and be seen. From a frustrated customer. |
