Just a small idea leading on from Bernie's reply, Terry White Chemists sell a pumice soap which sits inside a plastic plate in a snug fit.
You simply secure it to the floor of your shower as it has suction cups to avoid slippage.
In this way you avoid using your hands and no need to balance solely on one foot.

I hope you check it out an evaluate it for yourself.
