"Pop" and sensations devoid of sound, but which are sometimes confused with "pops" may be occasioned for many reasons. Some may be the result of escape of gas from joints, such as when one cracks his knuckles, or as the result of the slippage of a tendon from its intended bony track. But it is really unlikely that without benefit of an examination any definitive reason can be determined. It would be impossible to suggest or rule out a connection with your heel pain, especially with the lack of information you have offered. |
