I was born with a pronated right foot, and now at age 47, my arches really hurt, especially in the morning. Golfing and excercise is painful. I wear arch inserts, but they do little to help. Any suggestions?

You need an evaluation as to the nature and cause of your arch pain, which may or may not be related to your pronation, and you should know that inserts are not inserts are not inserts. Unless they were fabricated especially for your feet and the prescription was properly determined, it is possible that you have only expensive pieces of plastic or such in your shoes.
See a podiatrist well-founded in biomechanical diagnosis and treatment.
