Sounds more like trauma to the sensory nerves on the dorsum (top) of the foot its than being related to an achilles tendon problem. These nerves are quite close to the skin and are poorly padded. I believe that this is the area with which you strike when kickboxing . . No?
If my presumption is correct, consider stopping the kicking before permanent dammage is done if it hasn't already.
