The reasons that I decline to offer my general recommendations initially is that I would not wish you to consider that they necessarily apply to your specific case . . and, in spite of what you might promise, I think you probably would.
To make any recommendations which would reliably apply to your situation would necessitate that I necessarily concur with the diagnosis which you were given and/or that you related all of the essential details from which I could make a decision. Any recommendations based on such a house of cards may be more harmful than beneficial.
As I have explained many times to others here, forums such as this are not proper venues for making decisions which can only be appropriately made on the basis of real knowledge regarding an individual's situation.
Clearly, if your doctor has your trust, he/she should be the one to be answering questions such as you have posed. If, on the other hand, he/she does not continue to warrant your trust, then you should be seeking another doctor to manage your situation on a hands-on basis.
I am doing my best to offer you information on which you might rely, and not giving you an answer for which I have insufficient information, even though you might consider otherwise, is both doing just that and is in your best interests. |
