I would very much like to be able to offer something helpful, but I have read and re-read your question several times and am unable to get the crux of your complaint or even a clear understanding of its history. You start off speaking of a hammertoe surgery with a pin that somehow is still in after two years. (I have no idea as to why it was not removed, even if it was broken). Then you go on to mention that you have a hammertoe on the other foot. Therefore I am totally unclear as to which foot and which hammertoe you are complaining about in your question . . the one that was operated or the one that wasn't operated. Also you need to be more clear about the site of the pain, as your description, "lower parts of the toes where they are rounded before narrowing and attaching to foot" is open to ambiguous interpretation. It might be helpful if you would follow that language and format. In the course of answering thousands of questions here, I have often complained of the lack of good information in a form which can be understood. and still, to date, I have never had a questioner who had re-written his/her question in that format. Frankly, if it's just too much trouble for the questioner, it's REALLY too much trouble for me. I am all too willing to spend my time and effort to help those who truly wish to be helped, but I have only what the questioner offers on which to go.
So, please, if you want me to take the trouble to give you a good professional answer, give me something to work with in your question. |
