 Subject: What pointers are there for friction wound care?

What hints, tips, pointers are there that may facilitate healing of a skin fold wound apparently from friction where the bottom of the baby toe meets the sole of the foot?...

It appears that friction between the baby toe and the sole of the right foot is wearing away skin at the fold.
