Burning sensations in the feet can be of various etiologies, ranging from local irritation to peripheral neuropathies. This should be evaluated on you trip to the podiatrist.
Generally, foot odor is cause by bacterial action on excessive sweating. The treatment is generally to address and control the over-production of sweat. Having never heard of organic tea tree oil, I cannot comment on the appropriateness of its use, but I assume that perhaps it is a deodorant rather than something to address the sweating. Am I correct in that assumption? As you have noted, plastics and synthetics do not generally "breathe" the way real leather does, and thus are not appropriate for feet with sweat problems. |
