thanks so much for your time and reply. I will go and get a hands on evaluation by a podiatrist but I think I can answer the burning sensation I was experiencing under the balls of my feet - (I overdone it with the foot scraper and pumice stone. It was feeling itchy on the thickened area on the balls of my feet, which I assume are calluses and this relieved the itch. I ended up with smoother feet and the burning sensation which has now gone). Definitely, the high heels are contributing to the problem as my weight (60kg),is all on this area causing the thickening.
For the smell, I have been using organic tea tree oil which seems to be helping. I rub 2-3 drops under my feet every night. (Do you think this is O.K. for awhile?), I also notice that plastic and cheap footwear is not for my fussy feet - no thongs allowed and only the best quality leather lined shoes - I notice the difference immensely and have less sweaty feet!!!
I seem to be improving but will go and get it all checked out professionally and next time I won't scrap too hard!!!!
