Yes! you're right John they do depict photographs of past events in B&W in movies. They obviously believe that it is still an effective way of getting the message across. I think people still respect the tradition of B&W in relation to weddings. 37 years ago our wedding photographer did a very nice (but simple) B&W album with about 12 only 10 x 8's nicely printed and well presented. Even today they still look good and get the message across very well. He also did about 10 coloured 6 x 4's which were given to us in a brown envelope almost appologetically. They have not stood the test of time nearly as well as the B&W album. |
