Ken, I was just reading your response to Bud Laws requesting information concerning his dad. I was in Easy Company, 508th AIR in Beppu also. I was in the weapons platoon mortar section. I don't remember many names, but I do remember our first sergeant Cannon. A few other names and faces I remember are Oakley, McDonald, Faircloth, and Bonapart. After we got back to Ft Campbell, I was assigned to the personnel office and worked for CWO Hjort who was the Personnel Officer.
