Hi David,
I personally would not have a problem with you removing some lead from the pistol range backstop-berm, but let me run this past the executive committee first to make sure there is no resistance there.
I can predict that if permitted, the other requirements (beside putting the range back to the way you found it) would be that you turn on the safety lights when you are down range working and that you cease your lead mining should anyone show up to use the range. Yes, common sense I know, but it has to be said.
On another topic, if you want a more timely response to your questions, please refer them to webmaster@holmesburgfishandgame.com as I look at that at least daily. Our message boards are used so infrequently, so I monitor them with corresponding infrequence.
