Know your equipment! Forward and backwards with the lights on and in the dark like a night dive. Take a lot of pictures of all kinds of things on land and under nthe sea. With digital you can delete the stuff you don't want, but you will get more comfortable with your equipment and not have to stop and think about it when that million dollar shot come by! Don't foget the basics either like fresh batteries or a empty card for each dive, again you don't want to be at the right place at the right time without a working camera. By knowing your equipment you will know when it isn't working wright or needs a good cleaning or worse repair. The more you put your camera into and out of your housing the better you will catch something before you get it wet! And last but not least, get flood insurance! |
