If you properly train them, when they grow older, they can "hold it" for a few hours try to feed them not later than 4-6 hours prior leaving them in the crate and/or walk them till they go to the bathroom before you leave them in the crate. Having someone come and take them out is always good as they will feel alone been locked up without nobody been around..Yes, males tend to mark their territory and sometimes is hard to get them to stop marking until they become adults..Is mostly the contrary, females are easy going, but strong and males are more aloof and as they get older enjoy their indepedence so to speak.
In my experience, I believe females are easier to train, more loving ,attached to the family, usually live longer, more even tempered;of course you may find a male fitting all these qualities ( like mine, Horace ) and viceversa. I'll suggest you ask a few people that have both sexes, and make your mind, any ways he or she will be lovely.
I'll welcome your questions,as it tells me you care about your future " baby", if you wish you may visit us and spend some time with my adult dogs, maybe it'll help you decide
Thanks |
