In addition btw, Romans chapter 7 and 8 Paul clearly argues that his past sin life when he was a slave to sin,in no way resembled his new spirit filled life when he wasn't a slave to sin and no longer had that same struggle. In the epistle of John, it states "if" we sin, we have an advocate, not when. You make the same mistake many do in the church, assuming we all have to continue in sin after we are filled with the Holy Spirit. The fact is we don't it is always are choice. The Angels also had the same choice and had actual real "eternal security" until what? Oh yeah that's right, they chose to lose it.
