The following story is truly difficult to believe.

It's about a young man named Steve,
who's child was kidnapped by the mother.
(That's not unusual).
but, even in these extreme cases,
there's very little justice for fathers.

Steve was living with his girlfriend,
for roughly 2 years.

The couple generally got along very nicely together.
And, they also had an infant child.

However, One day,
she suspected that he'd been unfaithful and adulterous.
But, he assured that everything was fine.

But, She still continued to argue, for the next few days.
Then, Wednesday afternoon, while he was working,
she moved out, without giving any notice.
And, she also took the child with her.

HE immediately telephoned her parents,
but, they revealed no information.
The same was true, when he also tried telephoning her relatives & friends.

So, Steve hired a Private Investigator.
This proved to be more costly than Steve could afford.

Eventually, they were able to locate her trail.
During an 8 month stretch,
She had moved from town to town.
But, eventually,
she was located nearby at her grandmothers house,
in Queens, New York.

SO, the Investigator notified the Authorities.
And finally, she was apprehended.

Now,
Steven did NOT want his girlfriend to spend any time in Jail.
SO, he was not gonna press charges against her.

However, Much to his surprise, she retained custody.

But, the most outlandish part was still yet to come:
Basically, when Steve wanted to see his child,
THE COURTS ORDERED MANDATORY 'SUPERVISED VISITS'.
The reason was because,
8 or 9 months had already passed.
And, the child had been gone for such a long time,
Thus,
a group of "Social Workers" determined that,
the child didn't know his father, any longer.

(Perhaps, this is true.
But, the reason was because:
He was kidnapped by his mother, as an infant).

But, instead of prosecuting the mother,
she was allowed to maintain custody.
(because, they felt,
the child was more familiar with her)
While the Father's absence had made him into a stranger.
SInce when does this logic apply ??????

Now, 9 years later,
she received enough "child support" to buy a house.
While Steve remains in a One-room apartment.
And, until this very day,
she laughs at him. And publicly taunts him.
Always reminding him,
"you shouldn't have cheated on me".

In other words,
she sought revenge, based on pure suspicion.

And the Courts actually allowed this.
(the Judge is an older lady from Queens.
She's got a Jewish last name.)
and she's known for being a Man hater.)
