Thanks Debbie for that wonderful observation. After Debbie Bishop brought up the "casual" idea - it just took off. We so wanted it to be a fun and light event for all - don't worry about anything but being there and enjoying seeing old and new friends again. That really is all that matters in the end anyway. We worked hard to make sure that everyone felt welcome and a "part of". And I hope everyone did - I know I did not get a chance to talk to everyone, but know that I was thrilled that you were able to be there.
And the destination reunion - we came up with that when we realized 10 years was just to far away to try and get everyone together again - we knew this was going to be a wonderful reunion - we could just feel it - and already started talking about the next one! |
