As much as I would like to be of assistance, please understand that without viewing your xrays, etc. I would be shooting in the dark to offer an opinion. Get a second opinion and then let the Foot Doc know where you are with this. However, surgery would be the last resort. Have you tried inserts for high arch? Go see another doc. Good luck
