I am not specifically aware of the product which you are suggesting, but just about all corn medication or medicated pads, band-aids, creams, ointments or drops contain the same thing . . salicylic acid, which, on contact for a period of time, destroys tissue (hopefully, but not always, limited to the dead keratosis). These medications do work to TEMPORARILY relieve corns, albeit with some potential risk, but Tina's complaint was that the results were not PERMANENT, as they never are, without taking other measures. Corns are cause by intermittent pressure, while constant unremitting pressure would cause an ulceration. The answer is not wearing over-sized shoes, but shoes which are properly sized and shaped for the foot. But often the toes present with such deformity that nothing short of a custom made-shoe, manufactured from a cast of the actual patient's foot will suffice. But Rhonda fails to mention pain anyhow, and her complaint seems to be only predicated on appearance. In fact, the of her post "Ugly Corns" verifies that.
