 Subject: pain and burning on foot

I had plantar fasciitis a few years ago which was relieved by doing leg stretches. Now I have numbness and burning on the tops of my feet and a burning pain when I point my feet as well as numbness in my legs. When I point my toes I feel a pulling/burning sensation in the top of my foot. What could be causing this?
