This is the subject that I mentioned last week. It didn't seem to get much discussion going but I do think that the validation idea is... valid. :)
Two things that we need to focus on as a new service industry are professionalism and community awareness. Most people don't know that we exist and we have to change that. When we do get work we must be completely professional in our appearance and our service. We should also have a thorough knowledge of our work. And another thing that I'm focusing on is the lost art of customer service.
