Nice to have some competition here in British Columbia. Where are you located?

I will share some tips that haven't and have worked so far.

1. The home inventory business caters to women. Women can't be sold this service, but will buy a relationship with you. So get out to every networking group you can and start building relationships.

2. People are inspired if you can speak at a seminar. Teach them the importance of home inventory and ask them how you can help them get organized and have that peace of mind.

3. persistance is important...I really have found that people have the attitude of "it won't happen to me" and doing and inventory is not important. I have also heard that they don't care if they lose their stuff, its old anyways and they want new stuff. What people don't understand is if their policy is an actual cash policy...they won't be able to afford the new stuff, as the value of their junk is low.
