Could the agency suggest to them to take a dna test? That way they would be in the database. You could take a dna test. That would be much cheaper than paying $300-$500. You can do a dna test for $99 through ancestrydna. They have the biggest database. Even if the agency can’t suggest them to take a test you still may be able to get some close matches that could help you get closer to the birth family.
