Further description....More like a dull pain that starts just below my big toe (but on the top of the foot, not the bottom) and spreads to about 3 inces up my foot (not good with foot anatomy obviously). I did have a mild trip/twist of the foot about 3 weeks ago when I ran through some leaves. The pain started about a week later. When I stop running, the dull pain used to go away within a few hours but now it just always present but excerbated by the running. I have iced my foot after running but that didn't seem to change anything and I've tried loosening my shoes to make sure they weren't tight.
There is no swelling and no redness. "Push down" meant when I use my hand. I took three days off and the next run which was a short, easy one didn't seem to change anything. |
