Hello everyone,
I've been working on getting my home inventory business together in terms of cards, brochures, website, etc. for the last 2 months ... everything is finally starting to fit together.
Before I begin advertising & marketing my business, I just wanted to hear some feedback and advice from the veterans in the field on what has worked for them and what hasn't in terms of bringing in clients ...
I've got some ideas ... that I'm thinking about doing, let me know what you guys think:
1) Placing 1 page flyers on car windshields, etc. in shopping malls, restaurants, etc.
2) Having Canada Post (our postal service) deliver flyers to homes in the mail
3) Going door-to-door and telling people about the importance of having a detailed home inventory
4) Issuing press-releases and letters to the editor for local newspapers
5) Trying to schedule guest appearances on local radio stations ...
Has anyone tried any of these ideas and if so, how effective have they been? Also, what other methods have the veterans used in advertising the service ... which have worked the best?
I appreciate all the feedback you guys can give.
Thanks.
