I'm pleased to say, Jerry, that apparently under my tutelage, you have learned both the need for and the art of the disclaimer, the persistent lack of which is one of my main problems with most of those who offer advice based on anecdotal personal and non-professional experience, and even professionals who opine without the benefit of the detailed information which they would or should require in their private practices.
I have no problems with those who recite their particular experience, but many such opiners fail to realize that such non-data frequently cannot be interpolated into other situations which, although they may seem similar, may well not be. . . the danger in such, being that acting upon their suggestions may be both counterproductive and occasionally dangerous to the questioner.
