color changes in skin,pain with exercise or rest pain, as well as limitation in activities could signal poor circulation. systemic illnesses such as diabetes,or heart disease, are contributing factors to arterial compromise.
segmental arterial doppler ultrasound with digital pressures (toe pressures) will provide excellent inital evaluation from a quantitative and qualitative standpoint.arteriogram may be necessary.medication and/or surgery are required to address your symptoms if confirmation is elicited.your local podiatrist should be consulted. |
