My mother is a 80 years old, diabetic and had triple bypass heart surgery in Dec. 2003. Before her surgery, she complained of foot pain. After her surgery her foot pain seems to have intensified, more so on the bottoms of her feet and her toes get cold. She complains of needle-like pain. She has difficulty walking on her feet. She also still has a wound from an incision during her surgery, by her ankle that is slow to heal. How do we find out if it neuropathy or poor circulation or both? |
