There is often a disconnect between how questioner's title their posts and that which they discuss in those posts. Likewise, it is not uncommon to have a patient come into the office with complaint of a bunion and actually present with a callous. There was nothing whatsoever in his discussion of his problem which would indicate that the problem was Achilles tendinosis to the exclusion of other diagnoses. Doctors do not assume a diagnosis specified by a patient without confirmatory signs and symptoms.
