That is funny, but entirely understandable, a B&W wedding shoot would bring a premium these days.
I think I shot 20 exposures at my first wedding job, only had ten film holders. ;-)
Second wedding, was shot with a Rollei, printed everything myself.
I also shot a few with my Fuji 645 Zi at the wedding of a well known photographer in Prague, managed to get several nice shots a bit different from the crowd.
I have also noticed that movies still use very loud motor drive sound effects, and when a photo is taken, a still in B&W is flashed on the screen to show the instant recorded.
